The Union Square Alliance, The Sijbrandij Foundation and Building 180 are thrilled to announce the arrival of Marco Cochrane’s R-Evolution, a stunning 45-foot-tall sculpture symbolizing feminine strength and empowerment. Originally created as part of a triptych for Burning Man in 2015, R-Evolution will be on display in Union Square Park from February 6 through the end of May 2025

San Francisco, CA — As part of a collaboration with The Endup, one of the stages at the Winter Walk celebration in Union Square will host a house music and holiday dance celebration on Saturday. There will be winter holiday vibes and cheer with performances from many talented DJs. The event will be free for all ages and sponsored by JPMorgan Chase.

Winter Walk, San Francisco’s signature holiday event, returns to Union Square December 13–22 for a 10-day celebration that transforms two blocks of Stockton Street into a festive holiday destination.

Winter Wander-land—a series of special events, attractions and activations—will return to Union Square this holiday season. Presented by the Union Square Alliance, the multi-month campaign will showcase the variety of offerings available at San Francisco’s historic heart of the City.
